Experience the magic of live orchestral music and impressive young talent when Orchestra Victoria returns to Hamilton!

Hear the full strength of Orchestra Victoria in Rimsky-Korsakov’s symphonic suite Scheherazade Op. 35 and Rachmaninov’s fantasia for orchestra The Rock Op. 7. Prepare to be blown away by special guest trumpet virtuoso Tristram Williams and his rendition of Tomasi’s irresistible Trumpet Concerto.

Young Australian dynamo Tristram Williams maintains a busy international career as a leading soloist, ensemble musician, improvisor and educator. He has appeared as a soloist in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Britain, USA, Japan, China and many times around Australia.

Orchestra Victoria will be conducted by internationally acclaimed 29 year old German conducter Andreas Hotz.

Managing Director Elizabeth Tupper said “As the orchestra for all Victorians, we travel to many rural and regional towns across the State to present free concerts and education workshops. We have enjoyed returning to Hamilton twice a year since 2006. We hope that, with community support, we will be able to return again and again to continue to complement the cultural identity of Hamilton.”
