Jacinta Ewers

Jacinta has over a decade of professional experience in arts management, including working with Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Australian Youth Orchestra, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Melbourne Youth Orchestras and the City of Casey. Jacinta joined Orchestra Victoria in 2021 and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in April 2023.

She holds a Bachelor of Music Performance from the University of Adelaide, a Diploma in Management (Arts & Culture) from the University of South Australia, and a Diploma of Business (Governance) from the Institute of Community Directors Australia. She has also undertaken the Arts & Cultural Management Program as part of the Sibelius Academy, University of Helsinki and in 2024, she took part in the Oxford Cultural Leadership Program, a residential program at the University of Oxford.

Jacinta believes in transformative organisational leadership and strives to lead with compassion and empathy. She enjoys supporting those who work within the organisation, ensuring that each person is able to perform at their best and grow within their profession.
