Paul McMillan

Born on the Gold Coast, Paul has played with Orchestra Victoria since 2004. After studying violin with Michele Walsh at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, he travelled to Adelaide to study with Beryl Kimber at the Elder Conservatorium, where he subsequently obtained his Bachelor of Music on viola as a student of Keith Crellin. He went on to complete a Masters degree at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, under Rainer Moog. Paul has been a member of both the Sydney and Melbourne Symphony Orchestras, and has appeared as guest principal with the West Australian and Queensland Symphony Orchestras. Performing Wagner's The Ring Cycle has been a highlight of his career with OV so far.
