OV Education Workshops

In 2025 we launched of new series of Education Concerts for Grades 5-10, What Noise Do Numbers Make?, an interactive concert experience exploring the Learning Areas of Maths and Music. Building on this foundation, we are developing our the next programs in this series for 2026 and beyond, exploring further Learning Areas of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0: Music and English (2026) and Music and Science (2027).

At these performances, a chamber orchestra of Orchestra Victoria musicians from every section of the perform live at your school (incursion model) or local venue (multi-school excursion model), with a host leading an interactive, story-led performance that explores key concepts from the linked Learning Areas. In concert’s final piece, students are able to see these concepts in action, as they shape the final piece and see the outcomes of their choices demonstrated in real time.
