Jessica Gethin, Artistic Advisor

It’s always a joy to return to the Morning Melodies series, as we bring audiences into such close contact with artists’ personal stories, and this program with Caroline O’Connor AM does exactly that. Caroline has an extraordinary ability to connect music and memory, and here she shares the songs and moments that have shaped her life on stage, from Broadway to the West End and here in Australia. With Orchestra Victoria as her partner, the concert becomes something very human and direct - a shared space between artist, orchestra and audience, where story and song are completely intertwined. I hope you enjoy this experience as much as our musicians have enjoyed sharing it with you.
